Here’s the list of books we recommended for the lesson plan packages available on our site (with Amazon links for quick purchasing, or for those of you who love to read reviews!). There are so many great books, so our short list is not exhaustive or comprehensive, but begins the habit of incorporating contemporary literature into our religious conversations and practices. We’re already working on Year 2 where we’ll use another great selection fo books that complement Love Self, Love Neighbor, and Love God!
If your parish is on a tight budget (which is the case for many of us), consider having a parish-wide book drive and inviting parishioners to contribute to the growing library. Check your local library system too, purchase used books on Amazon, or check with your diocese about grant opportunities. And if you find another creative way to build your library, share your ideas with us!
